Herbal tips to control Diabetes

Control Your Diabetes

Mix half-a-teaspoonful of powdered turmeric (manjal) and the same quantity of dried and powdered gooseberry (Emblica officinalis) fruit in honey, and take this daily in the morning.


Prepare a mixture of 30 ml of the juice from fresh turmeric tubers and 30 ml juice of fresh gooseberry fruits, and drink this once a day


Drink half-a-glass of juice made from the stem of Tinospora Cordifolia mixed with some honey, every day


Make about 30 ml of decoction of Rotula aquatic, and have this once a day.


A decoction prepared from the root-bark of Crataeva religiosa may be taken daily.


Drink a decoction made from the bark of arasu (Ficus religiosa) mixed with some honey, once a day.


In addition, the regular use of the following preparations is recommended for keeping diabetes under control, without causing too much trouble.


The juice of the fresh fruit of the wild bittergourd (Momordica dioica/charantia).


A paste made from the flower buds of the champark tree (Michelia champaca) mixed with some honey and sugar.


A paste of the floweres of palash (Butea monosperma) mixed with some honey and ghee.


A paste of the skin of Tamarind seeds made with the latex of Ficus recemosa.


Consuming plenty of vegetables like ashgourd, cucumber, gooseberry, horsegram and the tender axis of banana every day.
