There are some steps for Constipation
Difficulty in defecating, very hard stools, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, loss of appetite and, sometimes, a slight pain in the stomach are the symptoms of constipation.
Soak some dried grapes (raisins) – the black variety is better – in hot water. When the fruits are saturated and swollen, drain off and drink the juice at night after supper.
Boil 15 gms of the fruit rind of chebula – Terminalia chebula – in 150 ml water. Take 30 ml of this decoction thrice a day.
Drink some hot milk mixed with lime juice in the early morning, on an empty stomach
Drink a full glass of water in the early morning and again at bedtime.
Soak a few dates in milk. Squeeze out their pulp and mix it with milk, and drink it at bedtime.
Dry the pulp of the aloe leaf and grind it into a powder. Mix a pinch of this powder with an equal quantity of turmeric powder and dissolve in a quarter cup of water. Drink this decoction for three or four days.
Prepare juice from the leaves of the Amaranthus. Drink 30-45 ml of this mixed with jiggery before going to sleep.
Mix one or two teaspoonfuls of purified castor oil in milk and drink it at bedtime for two or three days.
