1. Kitty Su
It obviously belongs on top of the list. Right? Listed as one of the best clubs around the world by the renowned DJ Magazine, it hosts some of the biggest parties in the Delhi NCR region. The sound setup is top notch, the dance floor is ginormous and the multiple bars help avoid long waiting for drinks. EDM superstars like Steve Aoki and DubVision have previously played for houseful crowds here. The club recently opened up in Mumbai and Chandigarh and is fast-becoming one of the sort out venues for massive parties and gigs in respective cities.
2. Area 51, Pune
Area 51 is India’s first 4-level spaceship shaped club. Spread over 10,000 square feet, circular in shape, with the top level revolving, the mid level is specially designed to host exclusive private parties and the lowest level is reserved for a dance floor with advanced light plus an enclosed hydraulic lift! The chef lets you order from a cross-continental menu from the traditional Indian and Asian to Italian! The Panoramic Group describes it as “multi-purpose venue that is a throbbing discotheque at heart but has banquet on its mind.”
3. Aer, Mumbai
South Mumbaikars can be seen flocking their way to the open-air rooftop bar during the weekend on the 34th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel for cocktails and an unforgettable dancing experience surrounded by the city’s lights on one side and the sea on the other.
4. Royalty, Mumbai
Ask any Indian club goer about his/her favourite clubs, there is a bleak chance that he’ll miss mentioning Club Royalty. Designed in European renaissance meets Indian royalty way, the club has interiors so alluring to such degree that it will leave you entranced. Also, the sheer size and scale of the club is unlike what you’d expect in Mumbai. This one is definitely one of our favourites.
5. Skyye Lounge, Bengaluru
There’s nothing that beats the idea of a perfect date, watching half the city lights shimmer sitting on a sky high couch, sipping chilled drinks and listening to a live DJ. Coincidentally, this ‘must visit place in Bengaluru’ lives up to its name with an open air sitting, splendid music collections, a bar with the most exquisite drinks and a breathing floor!
6. I-Kandy, Le Meridian
One of the hottest nightclub in Delhi NCR, I-Kandy is located at Le Meridian in Gurgaon. Playing host to the popular International/National artists, this venue has truly evolved the nightlife experience of Delhiites. Opened till 04:00 AM in the morning, this one makes to the list of top clubs in India.
7. Shiro, Mumbai
Shiro is renowned for its divine cocktails and sublime decor in sync with Japanese castle style along with water cascades! If you feel like having a good food, its oriental restaurant will serve you better than your expectation and if you’re in for some booty shaking, surely visit here while you’re in Mumbai as Shiro was named Best Bar for Dancing in the 2014 at Times Food and Nightlife Awards!
8. Tryst, Mumbai
If you’ve got big bucks to spend, Tryst is your final destination! Futuristically designed, it feels more like a light show, where more than a million colour-changing LEDs poke out of almost every corner and bright green absinthe potions swirl around in glasses. VIP treatment comes with a personal butler and a bouncer to boot but at a minimum billing of INR 25,000.
9. Tantra, Kolkata
There’s not many clubs like this one to celebrate your weekend. Decked with two bars, a hangout area, a playful dance floor, and ample of space to move and groove, it also becomes a preferred spot for mega events such as fashion shows featuring International personalities!
10. Trilogy, Mumbai
To be modest, Trilogy offers more than just a sea view. Apart from the wannabe couches and sexy models (wait..shouldn’t that be the other way round?), you’ll find a wooden bar on level one and a glittering red staircase scattered with lounges that leads to a humongous dance floor above it. Perfect for a once in a while night out!
