01 - Emraan returns as the serial kisser in the ‘Azhar’ biopic

Emraan Hashmi is busy with his upcoming flick, Azhar, based on the life of former cricketer, Mohammed Azharuddin. However, for those thinking that the film will be all about the ex-skipper’s cricket career, think again! According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Emraan has confirmed that he will shoot for not one but several kisses in the film. For the uninitiated, the film has three leading ladies - Prachi Desai who will play his Azhar’s first wife Noureen, Nargis Fakhri will be seen as Sangeeta Bijlani, former Bollywood actress and Azhar’s second wife and finally, Huma Qureshi, who will play badminton player, Jwala Gutta, who is rumoured to be the reason behind Azhar’s split with Sangeeta.

02 - Ranbir Kapoor

According to a report on DNA.com, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor will share seven liplocks in Bombay Velvet. Anurag Kashyap's film has managed to grab eyeballs right from the time it went on the floors. A source from the production house was quoted as saying that there will be seven kissing scenes in the film. Though the film is set in the '60s, Johnny Balraj and Rosie's romance has been approached in a contemporary manner. The source was further quoted as saying that the steamy kiss will also make it to the trailer.

However, this is not the first time that Ranbir has locked lips for a scene in the film. In the past, he has kissed his ex-flame, Deepika Padukone in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Southern hottie, Ileana D'Cruz in Barfi! In an interview with the Times Of India, Ranbir had said, "Kissing on-screen is extremely technical! You have to see if the light is coming right, if your face is in the right position for the camera. Besides there are so many people around! I am an actor and it's a part of my acting. I also don't usually need retakes. I am a good kisser."

Well, we have absolutely no reason to disagree with Ranbir's statement! Let's take a look at other serial kissers of Bollywood...

03 - The trailer of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy

The trailer of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! has received positive reviews and all those who have seen it have been raving about it. As the film has been promising with its tagline ‘Expect the Unexpected’, it seems that Sushant Singh Rajput was himself in for a surprise. According to a report on Mid-Day.com, actress Swati Mukherjee kissed Sushant when he was unaware about it. Director Dibakar Banerjee had informed Sushant that it was only going to be a peck, but Swati got into a lip-lock, the report stated. While this is not the first time that Sushant will be seen locking lips on the silver screen, we take a look at how Pulkit and Yami shared a lip lock in the freezing cold for their film Sanam Re.

04 - Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam had to kiss in the freezing cold while shooting for their film in Himachal Pradesh. The film that the duo were shooting for, is Divya Khosla Kumar's second directorial, Sanam Re. While Pulkit didn't get the chance to lock lips in his debut film, Fukrey, barely coming close to the girl in the entire film, he did chance upon a kiss with Yami Gautam in the upcoming film that apparently revolves around the story of teenage sweethearts who reunite after years.

05 - Aditya Roy Kapur

Aditya Roy Kapur seems to have been added to the list of the new serial kissers of Bollywood. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the lead pair of Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor shared a passionate lip lock on a rickety bridge over the Dal Lake on Sunday as curious locals living in the adjacent houses looked on in amazement. The twosome play Noor and Firdaus, the desi versions of Charles Dickens' starcrossed lovers Pip and Estella from Great Expectations. Looking ethereal in white, Katrina is met on the bridge by a lovelorn Aditya who kisses her after offering her the warmth of his shawl. The shoot was delayed for a few hours after unexpected snowfall on Sunday morning. Aditya has earlier also smooched in the film, Aashiqui 2 and doesn't seem to have any qualms about kissing in front of the camera.

06 - Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan also locked lips with Yami Gautam in Badlapur. The actor kissed senior actress Divya Dutta too. A Mumbai Mirror report quotes a source as revealing that the two actors were uncomfortable at first, the scene was eventually executed after four retakes. Varun Dhawan is however quite nonchalant about the kiss. The report quotes the actor as saying that he was very comfortable kissing Divya as she was very sexy. After beginning his career with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year, Varun Dhawan is on a roll.

07 - Sushant and co-star Swastika Mukherjee

According to a report in DNA, Sushant and co-star Swastika Mukherjee have shot the longest kissing scene for their upcoming film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. The report quoted director Dibakar Banerjee stating that he wanted to throw Sushant Singh off guard and hence he had not briefed the actor about his intentions of shooting a lengthy kissing scene. The report further stated that Sushant was displeased at the end of it, but when he saw the final shot, he seemed fine with it. Previously he had kissing scenes in Shuddh Desi Romance and is all set to share a hot lip-lock with Anushka Sharma in PK. The actor seems uninhibited when it comes to locking lips on the silver screen.

08 - Siddharth Malhotra

Siddharth Malhotra, who entered Bollywood with the film Student Of The Year, kissed Alia Bhatt in the movie. In his next film Hasee Toh Phasee, the actor was again seen in a hot lip-lock with Parineeti Chopra. He also kissed Shraddha Kapoor in his next, Ek Villain! Seems that Sidharth is hell bent on snatching the serial kisser tag from his senior Emraan Hashmi.

09 - Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor too is on his way to be the next serial kisser. The actor has emerged as an expert in love-making scenes. In his debut film Ishaqzaade, he was seen kissing Parineeti and in his next film Aurangzeb the actor was seen doing intimate acts with Sashaa Agha. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt set the temperatures soaring as they kissed onscreen in 2 States. While talking about his intimate moments, Arjun said in an interview to TOI, "It's the most natural thing to do. When a man falls in love, the first thing he will do is to kiss the girl. I think Emraan has broken the myth. Also, the audience today is sensible and understands the context of a scene. The love-making scene was integral to Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb and was done aesthetically. We did not do it to add sleaze."

10 - Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh too is the new entrant in the gang of kissers. The actor was confident with his chemistry in his debut film Band Baaja Baarat with Anushka Sharma and was seen getting involved in a hot lip-lock. Further, he was seen kissing Deepika Padukone in Ram Leela. He was also snapped planting a kiss on Deepika's cheek at the Hello! Awards.
