2. Floating Stones – Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu

Rameshwaram, which is located on Pamban Island has great significance in Hindu mythology. Hindu people states that, lord Rama was built a bridge across to Sri lanka to rescue his beloved Sita. He used stones to built that bridge, which is engraved by Rama’s name and they never sank in water. This stones are preserved in Rameshwaram and it is called as “Floating Stones”.

3. Shaking Minarets of Sidi Bashir

Sidi Bashir is a Mosque, which is in the Sarangpur area, Ahamedabad. irt is better known as “The Shaking Minarets”. Why this mosque makes the special is that if any person applies a little force or a gentle push on its upper arc, the minaret tends to sway. There are many researchers and engineers were tried to find the truth behind this shaking minarets. But, it all getting failed and there is still a certain mystery surrounding why and how the minarets can sway back and forth. In fact, local engineering students have used the mosque as a case study to investigate the flexibility of construction materials.

4. Yeti

Yeti is a humanoid crature, which is said to inhabit the Himalayan region. They are abominable snowman and the researchers states that Yeti is a legend and it is one of the most famous creatures of cryptozoology parallel to Bigfoot of North America. It looks like a human and using only two legs for walking. It’s skin covered with long white hair and didn’t wear cloths. It has an interesting feature that, changing it’s hair colour to fox red, in sunlight. So far there is no firm evidence to support the existence of the Yeti.

The locals believes that, if 11 people touche this stone by their fingers and chanted with “Qamar Ali Darvesh”, the stone flies up in air. One of the great pillars in India located in Delhi. This made up of Iron and this is famous throughout India. The most people don’t know about the reality of this pillar is that it is 99 percent corrosion resistant.1600 years older Iron pillar was still standing completely rust free, this is the 7.21 meters tall construction. Made from 98 per cent wrought iron, the pillar has been a subject of varied scientific research from around the world. Finally, a study concluded that the critical corrosion-resistance agent named iron hydrogen phosphate hydrate makes the pillar resistant to rusting. 10. The Bhootbilli

The Bhootbilli is a type of animal, which is find in some areas in Pune. It is basically a “Ghost Cat”, that appears to be a cross between a cat, a dog and a mongoose. It is just differ from it’s fat and broad with a long tail. It is black in colour and has a face like dog. But it’s back like mongoose. But, Some locals, claiming to have seen it said ‘Bhootbilli’ is “smaller than a lion but bigger than a hyena.” Its existence is largely debatable.
