Ravangla - Sikkim, India

''Ravangla or Ravongla is a small tourist town situated at an elevation of 7000 ft in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by state highway to other major towns in the state and lies between Pelling and Gangtok. It acts as the starting point for the trek to maenam la wildlife sanctuary.

Ravangla stages the Pang Lhabsol festival in a grand manner every year around August-September. The town and its surrounding area offer an undisturbed view of the snow ranges of Greater Himalayas. Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Sinialchu, Mt. Its average summer temperature varies between 21 and 13 degrees C while during winters, the minimum temperature can drop below freezing point. The city receives an average annual rainfall of 3894mm. The best tourist season to visit the city is between April to mid-June and mid-September to November.
