Salman Khan Songs
Superstar Salman Khan has not only acted in some of the biggest hit movies in the Hindi film industry, his movies have also been associated with some great songs. Interestingly, people seemed to have loved Salman when he has played the tender lover and have also loved Salman at his tapori best.
Some of his hit songs include ‘Dil Deewana’ from one of the biggest hits of 1989, Maine Pyar Kiya. It shows the charming old-fashioned side of Salman as he romances his heroine Bhagyashree. S. P. ‘Chandini Raat Hain’ was another great song from the movie Baaghi: A Rebel for Love which was released in 1990. The movie was not very successful, but the songs composed by Anand-Milind were enjoyed by all. Bahut Pyar Karte Hain
SP Balasubramanyam’s rendition of the hit ‘ Bahut Pyar Karte Hain’ was soulful. This song was from the 1991 movie Saajan that turned out to be the biggest hit of that year. The colors of the night sky, dupatta were beautifully used in the song.
The song ‘Tere Naam’ from Salman Khan’s super hit movie Tere Naam, that was released in 2003, had Salman in a trend setting hairstyle, singing his love for his love, Bhumika Chawla. This doomed love story made Salman’s fans cry for character in the movie and his fate. His acting and music by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid was appreciated by all.
Tu Meri Dost Hai
Even though Salman’s movie Yuvraaj boasted of a stellar cast, it couldn’t garner much audience enthusiasm in 2008. This movie was touted as a musical story and did indeed deliver on its promise by some great songs composed by A.R.Rahman. ‘Tu Meri Dost Hai’ sung by Benny Dayal, Shreya Ghoshal and A.R. Rahman was one such beautiful song that was beautifully picturised.
Dabangg, released in 2010, not only got the over-the-top action genre back into the limelight, it had some great music by Sajid-Wajid. ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain’ was sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on Salman as Chulbul Pandey and the pretty Sonakshi Sinha.
